I've never felt as excited or as hopeful about my vote in a presidential election as I did when I lined up at the polling place at 6:30 this morning. Now, as I watch the returns come in, I actually feel kind of choked up. Something really special is happening, something we can all be proud of. I'm so happy my children are getting to see this.

Why did the GOP try to convince voters that Clinton was backing McCain? I even had a robocall about it. Maybe if they picked a real issue (and a better VP), old John might have had a chance.
Jesus for president? I seem to remember a verse about that.
'Wine' is my president. Actually I am really happy Obama won. I was celebrating my last day at my job and celebrating the first African American president. Change is good.
i was speechless, and subdued, and still shocked - but smiled the whole night.
